All Events Off. Video of USA at Hickstead 2014
Normally on a Monday we try to do a round-up of the news from the weekend, but this week and for the next few, the news is – There is no news. Instead, for the next few weeks, we will put up videos from shows taken since the year 2000. Some of these are dressage and some show jumping. All the videos are taken by and copyright to Goldeneye Video & Photography, to whom we are grateful that they have allowed us full access to all their footage.

The first instalment is taken at Hickstead in 2014, and is of two of the Team from the USA. Beezie Madden is the first. She was the first female ever to win the King George V Cup, one of the oldest and most valuable trophies in any sport in the world. It is competed for every year as the Hickstead Grand Prix during the annual Royal International Horse Show. Here we see her winning jump off round. Bezzie Madden also retained her crown and won the King George V Cup again in 2015, a feat not achieved by anyone since 1962. This is her first victory. Beezie won riding Cortes C

In the second video, taken the same year, we see Laura Kraut USA riding at The Royal International Horse Show at Hickstead in 2014. She was on fire that year winning The International class The Bunn Leisure Vase. and also had clears in the Bunn Leisure Silver Salver and the Bunn Leisure Accumulator. Laura is riding Andretti S. in all three classes.
